Vintage Radio sale
Shipping internationally from ebay?

I have a Vintage Car radio listed for sale, I am in the Midwest, USA, and a potential buyer asked me if I would be willing to ship internationally to Spain. Says he has a certified paypal address and wants it for a car he is restoring. I’ve never shipped outside the states before, and realized this would add to the complexity. How would I go about revising my shipping cost of he wins the auction. What else would I need to do? Or would it be more trouble than it’s worth?

It’s much easier than you think. All you have to do is put the radio in a box, fill it with whatever you usually fill it with, weigh it then go to usps.com and click on the “Calculate shipping” and click on “international”, choose spain, and then fill in the package type and weight. Then you will be shown a list of options and how much it costs.

I advise to choose First Class International if it weighs less than 4lbs (maximum allowed in that rate). You can also use a flat rate Priority Mail medium box for $42 if the rate for Priority Mail by weight is too much. Pretty much First Class and Priority Mail are the most common and best options for international shipping.

I’ve been shipping internationally (books) for many years and have had no problems at all. It contributes to having more sales.
